Lake Baikal is the deepest and largest freshwater lake in the world. Its freshwater reserves are 23,000 cubic kilometers, accounting for one-fifth of the surface freshwater reserves on the Earth's surface. Lake Baikal is crystal clear and transparent (transparency up to 40.8m). In cooperation with the Ulan-Ude Water Company in the Baikal region, the company has established the “Baikal Water Industry Co., Ltd.”, which extracts 20 million tons of mineral water each year and introduces them into the country to provide a healthy source of water for residents to upgrade their drinking water.
